A live role

Director, Engineering, Platform Operations & Productivity

Bangalore, India

Our take: The real work here is running three different platform and productivity functions with hands-on technical depth, keeping them predictable through metrics and rhythm while personally stepping into design reviews and production crises.

This is for an engineering leader who never wanted to stop building, who still reads distributed systems designs line by line and can drop into a live crisis and be useful in the room. You will run three very different functions, from Git infrastructure reliability to friction elimination to a small senior team that goes wherever leverage is highest, and you will keep them running on metrics and rhythm rather than heroics. If you love keeping a team deliberately small, switching between infrastructure, productivity, and firefighting in a single week, and proving impact with numbers, this will feel like home.
