Our take: The real work here is designing GitLab architectures, deploying and migrating them into customer environments with infrastructure as code, and leading the whole delivery while mentoring the consultants who follow.
If you love designing the architecture, then rolling up your sleeves to deploy it with Terraform and Ansible and migrate real enterprise systems without losing a byte, this is your kind of work. You will lead customer engagements end to end, write the delivery kits and docs that make the whole team better, and mentor other consultants along the way. It is deeply technical, customer-facing, remote, and async, built for someone who keeps work unblocked through clear writing rather than endless meetings.
