Senior Backend Engineer, Trusted Agentic Development

Remote, Poland

Our take: The real work here is owning the technical thesis for validating agent-written software and prototyping the proof yourself until engineers trust and adopt it.

If you have built real software with AI agents and felt the sting of a green test suite hiding broken code, this is your problem to own. You will form the technical thesis for what trusted validation means when an agent is the author, prototype the hard parts yourself, and prove what works before the team scales it across Rust, Ruby and Go. It is remote, async, and built for someone who ships working code and wins engineers over with sound reasoning rather than a title.

Needs

  • systems design
  • prototyping to learn
  • tinkering with agents
  • building real software
  • tracing why it fails
  • reading trust data
  • setting technical direction
  • mentoring engineers

Rewards

  • blank-page building
  • owning the whole thesis
  • untangling hard problems
  • seeing teams adopt it
  • inventing a new model

Demands

  • influence without authority
  • strong written communication
  • forming a point of view
  • cross-team collaboration
  • multi-language depth

Grows

  • architecting from a thesis
  • learning the agent frontier
  • growing others judgment
  • quiet cross-org influence

Values

  • transparency
  • remote first
  • iteration over polish
  • learning culture
  • rigour that holds
  • whole-life balance

Drains

  • measuring adoption endlessly
  • constant async coordination
  • reviewing others designs
