A live role
Site Reliability Engineer, Cells Infrastructure
from GitLab · read the original and apply on their site
Bangalore, India
Our take: The real work here is building and running the infrastructure that lets GitLab.com scale, owning it end to end from design through on-call.
If you love owning infrastructure from design all the way through on-call, this is a build-it-and-run-it role at genuine scale: Cells is how GitLab.com grows horizontally, and you will provision it, route traffic to it, deploy it safely, and keep it reliable in production. You will work in Go and Terraform, set the SLOs, write the runbooks, and lead the blameless reviews when something breaks. The team is all-remote and async, decisions live in issues, and every engineer owns their services end to end.
